More than 60% of ATP's customers have chosen free port with invoice charge delivery method

Published onby ATP Group

Savings on rates and simplification of logistics management have led over 60% of ATP customers to switch to the free port delivery method with invoice charge.

This service, introduced last June, provides for a charge at a variable rate depending on the weight/volume ratio of the shipment detected during the packaging phase via QR-CODE.

Customers can control the charge’s amount at any time by crossing the references in DDT and invoice. Thanks to the introduction of the Free Port option with charge on the invoice, customers do not have to worry about anything: on the agreed date the material is shipped, the customer receives notification and the order arrives at the destination plant normally within the following 24 hours with a service level of 95% which rises to 98% within 36 hours (necessary to reach some particular areas less served).

ATP has always been committed to offering innovative and highly performing solutions not only in terms of products, but also of services. Precisely for this reason ATP has developed consignment stock and VMI projects and is constantly committed to reducing order management and delivery times.

Customer satisfaction is a game that is played on several levels and today the management of value-added services such as warehouse and logistics through a careful and proactive approach to market changes and customer needs plays a fundamental role.
