TRIBOLOGICAL ANALYSIS: THE KEY TO IMPROVING THE LIFE OF YOUR GASKETS

Does the duration of the #seals not meet your expectations? Would you like to better understand the #wear process and optimize the life by applying a “coating” on the contact surface? ATP is able to calculate the wear rate and the friction coefficient of the materials in certain operating conditions, even at very high speeds, simulating the system in which your gasket operates.

With the “plug and play” tool of our tribometer we can analyze the tribological behavior of the material of your application in two different configurations: “pin on disk” and “block on ring”, in lubricated and unlubricated conditions.

Thanks to this tool, ATP is able to study the wear and behavior over time of fluoropolymer matrix materials and develop new and more efficient technopolymers in line with the needs of its customers.
